According to an update from the Whitewater Unified School District, school board member Jim Stewart passed away on November 26. Stewart served on the board for close to 27 years until his passing. There will be a public visitation on Friday, December 3 from 3-6 p.m. at 550 N. Newcomb St. in Whitewater. Funeral services and mass will be on Saturday, December 4 at 1225 W. Main St. in Whitewater, with visitation at 10 a.m. and mass at 11 a.m. Full Military Honors will take place following the service.
