Whitewater Police Looking for Information on Hit and Run Incident

According to a post from the Whitewater Police Department, on Wednesday, December 29 at about 7:45 a.m. they received a report of a hit and run accident that occurred in the 900 block of N. Universal Blvd. A fire hydrant on the east side of the roadway was struck and snapped off from its foundation resulting in about $7,500 in damages. Parts collected from the scene indicate that the hit and run vehicle is a blue Nissan Murano. If you have any additional information about this case, call the police department at (262) 473-0555.
