Whitewater resident 33 year old Allen L. Brown is facing a charge of child abuse intentionally causing harm after an incident that occurred on May 1. On May 4 a $2 thousand bond was set and he was ordered not to engage in any acts or threats of violence, not to physically discipline anybody, and to maintain absolute sobriety. Brown must comply with the SCRAM alcohol monitoring program, as administered by the Wisconsin Community Services. He has an upcoming court appearance on May 25 at 1 p.m.
