Whitewater Man Facing Charges of Battery or Threat to Law Enforcement Officer, Judge, or Prosecutor

Whitewater resident 23 year old Santos Lopez Sanchez is facing charges including two counts of battery or threat to law enforcement officer, judge, or prosecutor and misdemeanor bail jumping after an incident that occurred on January 8. The case was officially filed on January 28. On January 10 a bond of $10 thousand was set, and he is not to possess or consume alcohol, and he must not enter any bars, taverns, or liquor stores. He also cannot operate a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device installed. Sanchez is also not to possess any firearms, ammunition or other weapons. He has an upcoming court appearance on March 7 at 3 p.m.
