Whitewater Man Facing Charges Including 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety

Whitewater resident 29 year old Darlin Anain Cruz Hernandez is facing charges of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer, two counts of hit and run, and operating without a valid license after an incident that occurred on February 25. The case was officially filed earlier this month. On February 25 a $1 thousand bond was set, and he was ordered not to possess or consume alcohol or enter any bars, taverns, or liquor stores. He is also not to contact the involved victims and must avoid their residence, place of employment, or anyplace else they are located. He has an upcoming court appearance on April 1 at 8:30 a.m.
