Watertown Shares New Approach in Monitoring and Preventing COVID-19

In an update from the City of Watertown WI Government, they are sharing a new approach to monitoring and preventing COVID-19. Watertown has under 20 active cases, and both Dodge and Jefferson counties have low COVID-19 community levels.

COVID-19 Community Levels are determined using three key metrics:

1. The number of new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population in the past 7 days.

2. New COVID-19 hospital admissions per 100,000 population in the past 7 days.

3. The average percent of staffed inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients in the past 7 days.
