Watertown Reveals Some Feedback From Main Street Project Meeting

The City of Watertown is revealing some of the ideas proposed by residents for the future main street reconstruction project. The city said on Facebook that these ideas included:

- Eliminating the red brick on sidewalks since it makes snow removal and maintenance hard in the winter.

- Having adaptable, outdoor gathering spaces that could be heated in the winter.

- Having a plan to prevent geese and ducks from causing a mess in key areas along the river.

- Making pedestrian safety a priority.
