Watertown Police Arrest Woman for 3rd OWI

According to a post from the Watertown WI Police Department, on September 30 they responded to a crash that occurred at the intersection of E. Main and N. Second St. Officers were informed by witnesses that the driver of the crashed vehicle was telling bystanders to not call the police. When officers arrived on scene, the driver had left the scene. There was extensive damage to the vehicle, and was inoperable due to damage. There was also an open bottle of booze in the vehicle. Officers were able to find her by running the license plate and other witness information. The woman was charged with 3rd offense OWI, operating after revocation, hit and run, and open toxicants in the vehicle.
