According to a post from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, they are participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, which will run beginning on August 18 through Labor Day, September 6. Last year there were over 6 thousand alcohol related crashes and over 2 thousand drug related crashes in Wisconsin. The sheriff’s office also noted that even though the campaign is focused on the next few weeks leading up to Labor Day, it’s their mission to stop impaired driving all year long.
