Village of Mukwonago Public Works Installs Yellow Flashing Lights near Beach

According to an update from the Village of Mukwonago, the Public Works Department has installed a yellow flashing light on the shoreline across from the beach. This will keep the Geese off the beach for residents, and will not deter them during the day. The unit is solar-powered and flashes every two seconds from dusk to dawn. The light is scarcely noticeable to humans but is very disruptive to the sleep of the geese. The method claims to encourage them into finding another habitat.
