Village of Mukwonago Police Participating in Operation Clear Track

According to a Village of Mukwonago Police Department Press release, they are joining the North American railroad safety effort to reduce preventable death and injuries near trains and tracks. The program is called “Operation Clear Track”, which raises awareness of making safe choices near railroads. The program will be held during Rail Safety Week, which is September 20-26 this year. During this time the Village of Mukwonago Police Department will be reporting to high-incident railroad crossings in Mukwonago, and will share safety tips and enforce crossing and trespassing laws.
