According to a post from the Village of Johnson Creek, many residents in the Southeast Neighborhood Project Area have shared their concerns in regards to the landscaping and restoration work. There are many state requirements for municipalities to follow, which required that the lowest bid from a contractor be selected for the project. The village has reached out to both the general contractor and landscaping subtractor regarding quality issues, and commanded that all resident concerns must be addressed. Crews will be back in the project area next week to remedy certain areas, including yard areas. These remedies will likely include weed removal and further seeding and placement of straw mulch on lawns. More information can be attained and questions can be directed to Village Engineering Team Representative Christian Moring at 262-665-3012 or christian.moring@stantec.com or Village Administrator Brad Calder at 920-699-2296 or villageadministrator@johnsoncreekwi.org.
