UW-Whitewater Sees Record Number of Enrolled Freshmen

According to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, this fall saw the largest amount of incoming freshman in four years. Close to 2 thousand freshman are enrolled for the Fall 2021 semester. Additionally, the School of Graduate Studies is seeing it’s largest class ever with 1,683 students working towards their master’s and doctoral degrees and certificates. This year, UW Whitewater is part of a $1 million initiative to help high school students prepare for, apply to, and enroll in any UW school. UW Whitewater will work this fall with Beloit Memorial and Turner high schools, Janesville Craig and Parker high schools, Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Bigfoot High School in Walworth, Delavan-Darien High School, and Elkhorn High Schools.
