According to an update from the City of Janesville, during the week of May 16, portions of Harding St. and Sherman Ave. will see temporary water service interruptions while work is being completed to replace public side lead water services. The duration of water shutoffs is estimated to be less than four hours in length. Affected customers will be notified with a door hanger 24 hours prior to the work being started.
Affected areas will include Harding St. from Benton Ave. to E. Memorial Dr., Harding St. from E. Memorial Dr. to Hyatt St., and Sherman Ave. from Harding St. to 309 Sherman Ave. If you have questions on the project, call the Janesville Water Utility at (608) 755-3115.
