Upcoming Road Work in Jefferson

According to an update from the City of Jefferson, WI, Several major street projects are scheduled to begin soon. Water main and street resurfacing work will be done on N. Sanborn Ave. from E. Racine to E. Woolcock May 9-June 30, sanitary sewer extension and lateral installation will occur on S. Dewey Ave. from Spring St. to Pond View Ct. June 1-30, overhead wire removal and resurfacing is occurring on Riverside Alley from Dodge St. to Candise St. now through July 31, replacement of terrace bricks, installation of new crosswalks, and tree replacement will occur in the Downtown streetscape May 16-August 26, and the South Main St. Bridge removal and reconstruction will occur September of 2022 - July of 2023.
