According to an update from the Jefferson County WI Government, the Highway Department will be resurfacing County Trunk Highway A from State Trunk Highway 106 to US Highway 12. The work is scheduled to begin the week of April 18 and will last through the end of June. Some culverts will be replaced, and some ditches will be regraded followed by the pulverization, grading and compaction of the existing deteriorated asphalt pavement. During construction the roadway will be closed to through traffic, but access will be maintained to local residences and businesses, as well as emergency vehicles.
