According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, WIS 59 from WIS 106 to County Z in Palmyra will go under construction. This 2.58 mile section of WIS 89 will see replacement of the existing asphalt pavement, repairing the bridge structure over the Scuppernong River, replacing the existing guardrail, and more. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026, but could be pushed to 2025. Traffic is anticipated to be detoured during construction along WIS 67 and US 12. Access will generally be maintained during construction for residents and local businesses to the greatest. More information will be given as it becomes available.
