Upcoming Constructin to Henry Ave. in Beloit

According to an update from the City of Beloit, in the 2024 construction season Henry Ave. is set to undergo improvements such as reconditioning of the roadway, bicycle accommodations, sidewalk/ramp upgrades to comply with ADA requirements, and drainage improvements. These improvements are critical to support the growing transportation infrastructure needs of the surrounding community. The city and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation are having an open house-style public involvement meeting to present information and gather public comments on these improvements to the Henry Ave./Shopiere Rd. The project limits will be from Royce Ave. on the west to Prairie Ave. on the east. The meeting will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6 at the Utilities and Engineering Facility.
