Two Suspects Taken Into Custody by South Beloit Police Face Multiple Charges

According to an update from the South Beloit Police Department, on Sunday they responded to a reported criminal trespass in the 100 block of Blackhawk Blvd. Two subjects, 24 year old Kali Norman from South Beloit and 46 year old Carlton Dean from Beloit were ultimately taken into custody. Norman was waiting in a vehicle near a business, and Dean was seen leaving a business carrying a reciprocating saw. They were found to be in possession of additional burglary tools and drug paraphernalia. Upon investigation, officers located damaged vehicles and parts that had been cut from the vehicles. Both subjects are faced with charges of possession of burglary tools, criminal damage to property over $500, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit theft, and criminal trespass to property.
