According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, on Wednesday at about 6:45 p.m. a victim reported that her vehicle was stolen by her juvenile children in the 2100 block of Lenox St. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop when the vehicle fled. A 13-year-old suspect was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent as a passenger and a 15-year-old suspect was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent and fleeing.
