Town of Delavan and Fire Departments Respond to Ice Incident

According to a press release from the Town of Delavan Police Department, on Saturday at about 3:15 p.m. they along with the Town of Delavan Fire Department were notified of an ice boat that hit the open water on Delavan Lake. Officers from both the police and fire departments arrived in the area and were eventually able to locate the subject on the lake in the 1900 block of S. Shore Dr. The subject was a 32 year old male from Chicago, and he was out of the water and standing on the ice. He was rescued by the Town of Delavan Fire Department using the air boat and was taken to shore. He was checked by rescue and released.
