According to a Facebook post from the City of Lake Mills Police Department, an individual was observed entering unlocked vehicles in the 900 block of Pope St. on Monday night. Officers were able to locate the suspect shortly after receiving the call. Yesterday morning, the Department received a report of another vehicle that had been entered in the 300 block of E. Prospect St. If you believe your vehicle was entered and items are missing, please contact the Lake Mills Police Department at 920-648-2354. They’d like to remind residents to please remember to lock your vehicles and remove valuable items from them when they are unattended.
