Student Expelled from School District of Janesville

According to a release from the School District of Janesville, a high school student has been recently expelled from the School District of Janesville for conduct which endangered the property, health, and safety of others by engaging in a verbal attack and damaging property. The expulsion hearing date was on November 8, and the student has a possibility of early reinstatement at the beginning of 2022 summer school, provided that certain conditions are met. These include but are not limited to that they must participate in mental health counseling and have no more participation in criminal activity. If the student is reinstated early, they must regularly attend classes with absences and tardies measured, and maintain satisfactory grades and behavior.
