Stephen W. Smith Named CEO of Community Health Systems

According to an update from the Beloit Area Community Health Center, today they announced that Stephen W. Smith has been named as the Chief Executive Office of Community Health Systems, which operates the Beloit and Darlington Community Health Centers. Smith has been the interim CEO as well as COO for the last year, and will make the transition this month. He has over 15 years of experience in executive healthcare management and previously served as Administrator of Child and Adolescent Services at Rosecrance in Rockford, Illinois where he was responsible for all youth mental health and substance abuse programming provided in North-Central Illinois.
