Sex Offender Relocating to Janesville

According to a Rock County Sheriff’s Office press release, sex offender Matthew A. Nitz will be relocating to the Rock Valley Community Programs on Sunny Ln. in Janesville on March 7. Nitz was convicted of 2 counts of possession of child pornography in October of 2018. He is to have no unsupervised contact with minors, and no contact with the victim. He is not to consume drugs, and he must comply with standard sex offender rules and comply with electronic monitoring. Nitz must also maintain face-to-face contact with law enforcement and be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Program.
