Severe Storms Likely Tonight, Risks Increasing For Some Areas

UPDATE: Shortly after 8 AM, The National Weather Service has upgraded portions of our area to a level 4 out of 5 severe weather risk for late tonight. About ¾ of Jefferson County and the far northeastern portions of Walworth County are included in the upgrade. 70-80 mile per hour wind gusts are possible tonight.

The National Weather Service has upgraded our area to a level three out of five, or enhanced, severe weather risk for tonight. Severe weather is expected for much of the state tonight, and heavy rainfall or even an isolated tornado, large hail and hurricane force winds are possible tonight after 10 PM.
