In a press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Paul Milbrath announced the retirement of detective sergeant Chad Garcia. Garcia started his career in the sheriff’s office as a dispatcher in 1995. In 1997, he was promoted to Deputy Sheriff. In May of 2000 he began working in the Patrol Division, and in 2005 was promoted to the rank of Detective. See the attached press release below for more information.
