According to a press release from the School District of Janesville, this morning Superintendent Steve Pophal announced his retirement at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. The district will begin the process of finding a new district administrator that will start in 2022, and the first step in the process towards a new superintendent is to interview and select an outside firm to conduct the search. More information may be provided regarding the search for a new superintendent as it becomes available.
