School District of Janesville Releases January Enrollment Numbers

In a press release from the School District of Janesville, they have released their January Enrollment numbers. The pupil count from January 11 is 9,317 students, a 151 pupil decrease from September of 2021. Student enrollment counts from across the state have consistently shown a reduction between September and January. These numbers are the net result of students moving in and out of the district, mid-year graduates, and students dropping out of high school. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the School District of Janesville as well as school districts across the nation.
