School District of Janesville Announces Five School Board Candidates

According to a press release from the School District of Janesville, five individuals have submitted declarations of candidacy along with signatures collected and other required documents to run for the board of education. Only five candidates will be on the ballot, so a primary election will not be held for this race. Names on the ballot include Audrey Smith, Incumbent Jim Millard, Amie Hughes, Incumbent Cathy Myers, and Incumbent Michelle Howorth. The election will be held on Tuesday, April 5. These seats are for a three year term.
