The Rock County Sheriffs Office is investigating a series of vandalism cases that have been occurring since October 9. There have been a total of 17 cases where the windows of houses or vehicles have been shot out with what the sheriff’s department believes to be an air rifle or BB gun. Captain Aaron Burdick from the Rock County Sheriff's Office gave some tips on how residents can protect their property. He mentioned making sure your house is well lit, keeping your vehicles in a garage if possible, and utilizing surveillance cameras if possible. This investigation is ongoing, and more information may be given as it becomes available.
