Rock County Sheriff's Office Declares Slow-No-Wake on Rock River for July 10

According to a press release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, due to Janesville’s fireworks display being postponed to Sunday, July 10, Sheriff Knudson is declaring a slow-no-wake speed restriction on the Rock River from the West Highway 14 Bridge to the West Centerway Street Dam on July 10 from 5 p.m. to midnight. Rock County Sheriff’s Office Boat Patrol will be on the water on July 10 and will enforce safety violations. Deputies will place slow-no-wake signs along the river at all public access points between the West Highway 14 Bridge and the West Centerway Street Dam on the morning of July 10.
