Rock County Public Health to Receive Funds Through Grant to Improve Maternal and Child Health

According to a press release from Governor Tony Evers, yesterday he along with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services announced that he is directing $16 million in grants to improve maternal and child health. The program will fund maternal and child health equity initiatives intended to combat maternal and infant mortality at the community and systems-level and strengthen health outcomes for families across Wisconsin. This program is made possible with both ARPA and Title V funds provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services that are dedicated to improving maternal and child health outcomes. As a result of this program, Rock County Public Health will receive a grant of $50 thousand. They will be awarded the funds around January 1, 2023.
