Rock County Medical Examiner Identifies Man Who Died From Janesville Fire

In an update from the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, they have identified an individual who passed away as a result of a fire that occurred on January 20 in the 3700 block of Bryn Mawr Dr. in the City of Janesville. He was identified as 76 year old William E. Herkert. A forensic examination was completed at the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on January 22, and additional testing is underway at this time.
