Retired Janesville Detective, Dale Stutika, Passes Away

According to a press release from the Janesville Police Department, retired Detective Dale Stutika passed away on Monday. Stutika retired from the department on December 30 after 31 years of service within the city. Throughout his career with the Janesville Police Department, he held a variety of assignments including Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Range Officer, Special Operations Unit member, and SWAT Officer. His dedicated work was recognized on numerous occasions. In 2009, Detective Stutika was promoted to the rank of Detective, a position which he held until his retirement. Funeral services are planned for Monday, April 18th, 2022, with a visitation scheduled from 12-3 p.m. followed immediately by a Memorial Service at 3 p.m.
