According to an update from the Palmyra Eagle Area School District, recently band director Scott Hein applied for a gift from the Gloria and Arthur Konig Foundation, whose purpose is promoting and sustaining music and arts in schools. Last week, a gift of over $7 thousand was presented to Scott Hein and the Eagle Elementary Band Program. With the money, Hein was able to order four flutes, four clarinets, four alto saxophones, two trumpets, two trombones, and two baritones for students.
