One person has died in a crash in Rock County. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says that just after 4 PM Wednesday, authorities responded to an accident in the 5400 block of South County Highway J. A GMC Acadia SUV had struck items and driven through multiple properties and ended up against a tree. The lone occupant was rushed to Mercyhealth Janesville where they later died. The individual has only been identified as a 49-year-old female from Beloit, and speed and alcohol have been determined as a factor.
