According to a press release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, this morning at about 8 a.m. a motorcycle crashed at the 171 northbound exit on I-39/90 near Janesville. When troopers arrived at the scene, the motorcyclist was deceased. Witnesses around the area said the motorcycle had started to exit, but then changed direction at the last moment to resume traveling on the interstate and made contact with the crash barrier, causing loss of control. The name of the deceased has not yet been released, but he has been identified as a 42 year old male from Belvidere.
