Minor Dies in Janesville After Vehicle Accident

According to an update from the Janesville Police Department, yesterday at about 3:15 p.m. members of the Janesville Police and Fire Departments responded to the intersection of E. Memorial Dr. and Prairie Ave. for a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic accident. The pedestrian, a 9 year old victim, was transported to the hospital and later died as a result of the injuries sustained during the accident. This incident is still an open investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
