At this week’s Milton Common Council meeting, they approved an ordinance amending section 66-121 of the code of ordinance regulating driveways. The amendment will clarify when a permit is required for the construction or reconstruction of a driveway. Now, section 66-121 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Milton is amended to read as follows:
No person shall construct, reconstruct or otherwise alter that portion of any driveway within the street right-of-way without first obtaining a driveway permit from the director of public works. Any driveway reconstruction or alteration must comply with the requirements of section 78-243.
