According to a press release from the Department of Justice U.S. Attorney’s Office, 41 year old Larry Cole from Painesdale, Michigan was sentenced yesterday by Chief U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson to 10 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. The defendant pleaded guilty to this charge on August 31, 2021. On October 9 of 2020, police stopped the defendants car in Rock County after learning in August that Cole was a large methamphetamine trafficker in Wisconsin and Michigan. While searching the car, officers found three pounds of methamphetamine and a firearm.
