Mayor of Watertown Announces Re-Election Run

According to a press release, Watertown Mayor Emily McFarland has announced that she is running for re-election in the Spring 2022 Election. McFarland was elected in the Spring 2019 Election, and before that served on the Watertown City Council beginning in August 2013. For her new campaign, McFarland is focused on expanding Watertown’s housing stock, building a strong succession strategy, and building on projects, continuing operations evaluation, efficiently strategizing for road maintenance, continuing pursuing development opportunities, further implementing their business retention and expansion program, and more. McFarland holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
