Markese Terrell Announced Candidacy for Beloit City Council

According to a press release, Markese Terrell has announced his bid for the Beloit City Council. He currently works for Merrill Elementary School, and serves as the Vice Chair of the Equal Opportunities Commission. He also is the Chairperson of the NAACP Education Committee. If elected, Terrell says he wished to address housing challenges in the city, create more recreation opportunities for youth, and collaborate with other community partners to improve the quality of life for all residents.
