Madison Man Facing 7th Offense OWI After Driving Into Ditch in Jefferson County

According to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, 30 year old Alexander Ian Siniard from Madison was arrested yesterday shortly after 7:30 p.m. for his 7th offense OWI. Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers responded to a call for a vehicle in a ditch in Jefferson County. Upon arrival, the driver fled on foot from the vehicle. He was later taken into custody with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Lake Mills Police Department. In addition to 7th Offense OWI, Siniard also faces charges of resisting/obstructing an officer and attempted escape from custody at the hospital.
