Local Students Selected for Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council

According to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture - Trade and Consumer Protection, they have announced the members of the next Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council. Of the 15 students, four reside in our listening area. Brandon Boyd from Watertown, Claire Esselman from Clinton, Henry Koerner from Walworth, and Alyssa Schauer from Mukwonago will all be seniors in the 2022/2023 school year and will serve a one-year term on the council. The Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council highlights agriculture-related careers, shares resources available for farmers, provides insight into agricultural policy development, and increases networking opportunities across the industry. The Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council was created in 2020.
