According to an update from the Lake Mills Area School District, yesterday morning they celebrated the groundbreaking of the future greenhouse. The addition of this greenhouse at the high school allows the district to further emphasize Career and Technical Educational opportunities for students as outlined by the district’s strategic plan. With this new greenhouse, students will be able to receive a transcript credit option through Lakeshore Technical College by taking the Introduction to Horticulture class. One of the goals with the greenhouse is to implement a farm to table program using fresh produce grown and prepared by students.
