At the December 12 Lake Mills City Council meeting, the council discussed the formation of a committee that would revolve around Mill Pond. Member at large on the council Catherine Bishop noted the need for public input should the committee be formed, and also the environmental impacts that would need to be explored. This meeting was the first time a committee for the Mill Pond has been brought up. If this committee is formed, Bishop noted that they would also receive and analyze previous documents centered around the pond and arrive at potential solutions of how the future of the pond should be handled. More information on this potential committee will be given as it becomes available.
