Lake Geneva Police Investigating Suspicious Person

Police in Lake Geneva are investigating after a report of a suspicious person at Bog Foot State Park. Lieutenant Ed Gritzner of the Lake Geneva Police Department told us that LGPD was overwhelmed with calls, so the Walworth County Sheriff's Office took the lead on the call, but said that one person reported seeing someone try to break in to a single vehicle. Lake Geneva Police eventually got an officer to the scene to get more information. Gritzner said that there was no suspect description available but they immediately increased patrols in the area and will continue to do so. Any more information will be provided when it is released.
