According to an update from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a boat was reported to be floating on the south end of Lake Ripley this morning at about 8:50 a.m. Officers are unable to see any boat registration numbers. The boat is currently up against the cattails along the shoreline along Island Road just north of Forested Road.
