Jefferson County Gauging Interest in Potential Friends of Jefferson County Parks Group

According to an update from the City of Watertown WI Government, Jefferson County, in collaboration with UW-Extension, is hosting a two-part discussion to see if there would be any interest in creating a Friends of Jefferson County Parks group. The goal of these meetings will be to assess interest in the community and to create a working group interested in enhancing opportunities in Jefferson County parks and trails for volunteerism, programming, and fundraising for projects. Two sessions will be offered, both in person and virtually, on Tuesday, March 8 from 5-6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. If attending in person, the meeting will be held in the Jefferson County UW-Extension Building.
